Responsible for the installation, monitoring, testing and maintenance of telecommunications transmission and associated ancillary electronic equipment, wiring per engineering specifications and operational procedures, both in technical facilities as well as on customer property in accordance with published Verizon Business standards.  Performs testing and diagnostic procedures on equipment standards.  Assembles, installs, and tests transmission and Switch equipment, modems, routers, dxc, etc. Utilizing troubleshooting and fault isolation techniques including remote testing of systems to isolate and resolve system and customer related outages.  Coordinating the installation, testing and turn up of systems involved to ensure transmission systems are up and working.
